Hydraulic work supports

Different versions exist :

  • The rod is extended at rest
  • The rod may be in any position
  • The rod is retracted at rest

The work support’s rod comes into contact with the workpiece and then compresses the contact spring. The rod is then locked in position by the locking ring through the increased oil pressure.

The operating pressure of 300 bar enables a locking force from 5 to 24 kN.
The contact force by spring on the component to be machined is as small as possible between 8 and 100 N.
