Operating principle

Model : AVF_R

Contact force generated by a spring.
The rod is extended at rest.

The workpiece touches the end of the rod [1] and compresses the spring [2]
The rod is locked in place by the locking ring [3], by the action of the oil pressure at the port B.

Port A: vent to be piped to a place that is free from moisture and impurities

Model : AVF_A

Contact force generated by air pressure.
The rod may be in any position.

This type allows precise adjustment of the contact force.
The rod emerges when air is supplied to the port A.
The rod is locked in place by the locking ring [3], by the action of the oil pressure at the port B.
In this version, the spring [2] is absent and the screw [4] is sealed.

Use dry filtered air

Model : AVF_AR

Contact force generated by air pressure.
The rod is retracted at rest.

The rod emerges when air is supplied to the port A.
The rod is locked in place by the locking ring [3], by the action of the oil pressure at the port B.
The rod moves in because of the spring [5].

Model : AVFH__

Hydraulic extension
Contact force generated by a spring.
The rod is retracted at rest.

This type offers the benefit of using a single hydraulic supply port for extending and locking the rod.
Under the action of oil pressure at the port B, the rod emerges until it comes into contact with the workpiece through the spring [2],
After the internal stop of the rod [4] is reached, the pressure increases and the locking ring [3] locks the rod.
The rod moves in thanks to the spring [5]
